Dear Dave;
Now you're whining that the pine beetle infestation currently experienced in western Canada is a problem? Here's the rub, bub;
1. The pine beetle could have been controlled through the use of selective logging but the BC environmentalists wouldn't allow it.
2. The pine beetle could have been stopped by the use of controlled burns but the BC environmentalists wouldn't allow it.
3. The pine beetle could have been controlled through the use of pesticides but the BC environmentalists wouldn't allow it.
You, David, are one of those BC environmentalists. You have only yourself to blame. Pinhead.
