The MSM is Lazy

I've learned to distrust the MSM not because of the big things that I "think" they've gotten wrong, but because of the little things that I "know" they've gotten wrong. Case in point :
Palestinian Attacks Israelis With Bulldozer; 3 Dead (Update2)
By Jonathan Ferziger
July 2 (Bloomberg) -- A Palestinian man commandeered a
bulldozer near one of Jerusalem's busiest intersections, hit and
killed at least three Israelis and overturned a city bus before
being shot dead, police said.
More than 35 passengers were hurt when the construction
vehicle pushed one bus over on Jaffa Road shortly after noon
local time and collided with a second, authorities said. At least
four people were hospitalized in serious condition.
The driver ``rampaged down the main road toward the bus,''
police spokesman Micky Rosenfeld said in a phone interview.
``Police arrived on the scene and shot and killed the
terrorist.''
It was the worst Palestinian attack since a gunman on March
7 opened fire at a Jerusalem rabbinical school not far from the
scene of today's incident and killed eight students. The
bulldozer attack could interfere with talks Israel is conducting
with Hamas on expanding a cease-fire in the Gaza Strip and
exchanging prisoners.
and a photo of the machine used by the above noted sandmonkey:
The machine in question isn't a bulldozer. It's a "Front-End Loader". Specifically, it's a CAT 966 wheel loader. I know that because I used to run one. Here's the manufacturer's information on that particular piece of equipment . Seeing that they're the ones who built it, they should know what it's called yes?
Here's the point: The above noted machine was used as a tool, by a sandmonkey, to kill Joooooooos. If the media can't be bothered to properly identify that tool, what else are they f***ing up? What other information are they ignoring or overlooking?
Oh, and for future reference, this is a "bulldozer":
Dozers move so slow, (top speed, forward, in rabbit gear = 8 mph) that it's almost impossible to be run over by one unless you're a stunned twit that decides to stand in front of it .
Musical interlude!!!!

From "Marginal Notes "
Today, July 2nd, is a National Day of Action to Stop the Deportation of War Resister Corey Glass.
Canada's War Resisters Support Campaign asks you to call Diane Finley, Minister of Citizenship and Immigration Canada:
U.S. Iraq War resister Corey Glass is still facing deportation on July 10th, despite the Parliament of Canada having voted in favour of a motion to let Corey and other U.S. war resisters stay.
The federal government and the Minister of Citizenship and Immigration must respect the will of Parliament and implement the motion which calls on the government to “immediately implement a program to allow conscientious objectors and their immediate family members […]
From "Canadian Cynic "
(Guest post by frequent CC commenter Matt Bin who, unlike so many of Canada's whiny Blogging Tories, can comment on topics military while actually knowing something about them. Enjoy.)
Matt writes:
This week, the Refugee Board ruled that American war resister and Iraq veteran Corey Glass was not eligible for refugee status. He was ordered to leave Canada within 14 days, or face deportment.
[...]
We desperately need the Liberals to take a stand for us, and for all Canadians. A majority of Canadians (64% of Ontarians, in a recent poll) want Canada to keep the resisters safe. The Liberals are the swing party, and their support for the resisters will ensure that these brave men and women will not be forced to return to the US military, and possibly to Iraq. To get the Liberals' support, we need to make sure they know that it's politically safe for them to do so.
And now a great big smack with the reality bat :
But it turns out Glass has had little reason to be on the lam, ABCNews has learned.
Unknown to him and his legion of supporters, Glass, 25, was actually discharged from the U.S. Army shortly after he went AWOL in 2006.
[...]
"I had absolutely no idea that I had been discharged," said Glass when ABC News informed him of his status. "This is insane. This is so weird. There are no warrants? No one is looking for me?"
According to U.S. Army documents and officials, Glass was discharged from the California National Guard Dec. 1, 2006, four months after he arrived in Canada.
"He is not considered absent without leave. He is not considered a deserter," said Maj. Nathan Banks, an Army spokesman. "He is running for no reason. He is fully welcome in the United States. I cannot believe this is a big deal in Canada."
Corey Glass, as a war resistor, is a fraud. 10 to 1 sez that the moonbats noted above neither acknowledge that fact nor change their postings to reflect reality...
Here's a question... If you were going to flee to another country as a political exile, wouldn't you actually check to see if you really were a political exile to begin with? This is purely speculative: I'm guessing that Corey Glass knew about his "not wanted" status but that he enjoyed his celebrity amongst the Canadian moonbats so much that he kept it to himself. A stooge feeding off the adoration of other stooges who turned him into a martyr.

Ezra has lots, Jay Curry comments as well. Libel Cry Babies The Lying Jackal and Lucy Warman are weeping in their Suckybaby mash today.
Damian Penny has more, the following is key, and a desperate update to our draconian libel laws:
It
is therefore appropriate to modify the “honest belief” element of the
fair comment defence so that the test, as modified, consists of the
following elements: (a) the comment must be on a matter of public
interest; (b) the comment must be based on fact; (c) the comment,
though it can include inferences of fact, must be recognizable as
comment; (d) the comment must satisfy the following objective test:
could any person honestly express that opinion on the proved facts?
Even though the comment satisfies the objective test of honest belief,
the defence can be defeated if the plaintiff proves that the defendant
was subjectively actuated by express malice. The defendant must prove
the four elements of the defence before the onus switches back to the
plaintiff to establish malice.
