It was cheeper (and easier) for me to just buy a new hard drive than keep screwing with the infected one:
unplug old sata drive
insert new sata drive
reload windows
reload Norton
reload adaware
reload c-cleaner
reload spybot SD
plug old sata drive back in as a slave
transfer all non operating data from old drive to new
wipe old drive
resume using computer to annoy lefties - Only this time do it with over a terrabit of storage and 4 GigRAM.
There's a silver lining to everything...

They've neutered the gun registry without having to eliminate it altogether and Canadian lefties are furious...
OTTAWA -- The Harper government has extended the two-year-old
amnesty that protects firearms owners from prosecution if they fail to
register their rifles and shotguns.
Cabinet approved a directive
last Thursday that extends the amnesty to May, 2009, virtually
guaranteeing the Conservatives will not have to risk defeat of a bill
scrapping the controversial registry before the next federal election.
The
move prompted angry reaction from opposition MPs, who accuse the Tories
of lacking the political courage to make good on a central part of
their campaign platform for rural voters in the 2006 election.
Looks like there are some new .22's, in the near future, for me and the boy.

To the POS who created the adware currently infecting my browser: If I ever find out who you are, I'm going to use your own keyboard to beat you into submission.
