Some questions;

1. Ok, so the kid's retarded.  Why is he in a public school Kindergarten with non-retarded children?
2.  Why did the black school teacher feel the need to force the retarded (white) kid to stand in front of the class and have his classmates tell him that they don't like him because he's retarded and vote him out of the kindergarten class? (If you're wondering why I chose to mention that the teacher is black and that the kid is white, you'll have to ask Kinsella and Obama.  Apparently, according to those guys , race means something...)

What's the root cause of this one?

1. The belief that the mother has that her retarded child has equal learning capabilities with non-retarded children?
2. The belief that the mother has that her child is entitled to a state funded education?
3. Lack of funding for said special ed?
4. Any affirmative action in play that pushed the teacher beyond her skill and put her in a position that she wasn't qualified for?
5. Any union issues that wouldn't allow the school's administrators to get rid of an incompetent teacher?
6. Did the teacher watch too many episodes of "Survivor" where she got the idea that the undesirables could just get voted off of the island with no repercussions?

Note to the U.S. readers:  You let this crap continue and you may as well start calling yourselves Canadians...  You're supposed to be looking at us as an example of what not to do, not the other way around...
