Update: A big welcome to readers from Small Dead Animals , Five Feet Of Fury , SteynOnline and Barrel Strength . Make yourselves at home.
**********
I captured Dennis Miller interviewing Steve Paikin this morning. The audio is 8.5 minutes long and it's a good listen if you've been following the HRC complaint against Steyn and Macleans.
Steve Paikin is a journalist with TVO who made our radar when he moderated an impromptu debate/discussion between Mark Steyn and the "sock puppet three" on TVO's "The Agenda". You can watch that adventure, in all it's seven parts, in our video gallery .
In other Steyn news, Warren Kinsella is whining that Steyn won't debate him at an event that doesn't exist . Warren doesn't seem too bright.
...which is something one could say infrequerntly about Mark Steyn, but here goes.
The pompous windbag and country-club bigot has an amusing letter in the new Harper's
in response to the 'Islamopocalypse' thing a couple issues back. I'd
link to it, but I was only sent some PDFs by a reader; linkage would be
welcome.
You can read it yourself. I, meanwhile, continue my hunger strike to push for a debate with the great man.
Maybe Warren didn't get the memo
I just received an email from the Public Policy Forum that the June 3
conference examining the future of human rights commissions has been
postponed. No date has been set, but the email said,
it will be rescheduled "likely next spring."
I
had a feeling it would be canceled, since as late as last week, there
was no word on who would participate on the panel discussion and go
head to head with Warren Kinsella that afternoon. It also looked like it was shaping up to be a snore-fest, at least from this former television producer's point of view.
Most interesting.
poor Warren
